The brain child of T, he saw these in a local artists shop but wated to make his own in personalized colours and scents.
We found some tea cups after visiting a few second hand shops. T cleverly took a survey in class to discover recipient’s favorite colours and scents. We broke up appropriately scented tea lights with some paraffin over a double boiler, and then added crayon a little at a time to get the desired colour. We used wicks from from 4″ unscented candles. The wicks were suspended from a popscicle sticks and weighted with a bit of wax to keep it straight.
I poured the melted wax into the tea cups and then let it set.
Once the candles were cool we wrapped each pair of cups and saucers in a pashmina.
